BitTorrent is a protocol for distributing files. It identifies content by URL and is designed to integrate seamlessly with the Web. Its advantage over plain HTTP is that when multiple downloads of the same file happen concurrently, the downloaders upload to each other, making it possible for the file source to support very large numbers of downloaders with only a modest increase in its load.

"Good program for all p2p downloads" Has many options, fast as your internet, good set of preferences Sometimes I have to re-set the preferences

"Great Torrent Program" There's not much to say. It does what a torrent program should. No cons that I am aware of. Great overall program.

"Not very user oriented interface." None that I have found. No internal search option. No faqs on website to help find torrents. It might just be me and my inexperience with the program. I have used limewire for years so I am used to having the big search on the right side of the program to find what I am looking for.

"Very simple and effective" simple, fast, easy to use none so far No spyware or viruses. Doesn't clog the internet connection. Clean interface. Easy to understand.

Marvellous, The quality of the recording and download was second to none ! I downloaded Fast and Furious 2009 the film quality was amazing, the sounds equally as good, crystal clear, 5.1 surround The 1st film was great & simple in everyway. Im downloading a second film-Quantum of Solace, still as easy but seems to be taking quite a while to download Its great, quick & simple, with excellent results. As with all downloads check the file isnt infected/has good rating. As long as youve got adequate security and check any comments from other users, you shouldnt have a problem. Ive only used Computers/Internet for 1year, Im not very tech minded. If I can use it with no problems, ANYONE CAN !!!!!!!! Excellent !!!!!!!

who lives in a pineapple under the sea? I read comments saying 'it can be slow'...'still on first file'...'search could be easier' You have some learnins to do. if you want free content, this is how to find it, doesn't really show its power until you install its front end program,Vuze, and start using torrent search engine sites like btjunkie or mininova to download thru your browser; if you don't think this is the greatest file sharing system ever, you probably aren't using it correctly. You NEED Vuze and you need to visit btjunkie or mininova to unleash the power of torrents. The selection of shared content is unrivaled anywhere. This is why you pay for the internet, so use it.
