"Good stuff ... tried "them all"" All in one, works, and it's easy ...with advanced features everywhere for 'fine tuning', if you wish. Um ... it's free ... with a Great firewall too.Huge improvements since it came out earlier this year... If you don't have a "safe" computer (read the directions) it can restart after installation in a "paraniod" mode and be a BIG pain in the @ # $ !!! - LET IT DO THE SCAN during installation ... it's worth it. This is a must try product. I am getting to feel a little guilty using it for free. (their marketing plan for sure) If you don't like it - it does uninstall well. I did it a couple of times this year to test other software ... but always came back.

I've tried a bunch of firewalls, for the past few years, and am currently using this as my firewall because: 1) very low memory footprint, 2) next to no noticeable CPU usage as a percentage of total CPU time, 3) Defense+ not only catches new processes trying to run themselves or new processes but even creating new directories, 4) firewall defends against DOS attacks, 5) I can set it to install mode and it will remind me if I forget to return it to its previous mode, and 6) a bunch of others too numerous to list here and it is hard to find another product with all these grouped into one firewall/malware defense program. The only thing I would ask for is a reminder to take it out of learning mode and a better virus scanner (I don't use it -- takes 2.5 minutes just to scan my desktop -- I'd hate to imagine 100s of gigabytes). If they do, it should check entire disk including MBR. -1 only for the virus scanner -- remainder is top notch. Awesome program if they can address the virus section.

The firewall seemes to be a decent program as it could show many activities trying to go online. 1. Always fail in updating cmdagent.exe (i.e. its virus database). The 30MB or so file always failed to update. 2. It is IMPOSSIBLE to uninstall, unless you want to DESTROY your connection system! It is a nightmare using this software. You could not update its virus database and it won't unisntall easily. Even experts have problems in uninstalling this program Go google "could not uninstall comodo" or "could not update comodo", then you'll understand what I meant.

Light, elegant design, simple interface. Feature rich and on par with other paid security suites. A little bit confusing for users not familiar with firewall set-ups. As a long-time user of Zone Alarm for my firewall needs, I was skeptical towards Comodo as a suitable replacement. Luckily the Comodo Firewall delivers with a great interface and has just as many features. This program is definitely for the power user, but can easily be set-up and left alone by a beginner. As a firewall and anti-virus rolled into one, its really a nice piece of software to have on your machine.

"sophisticated" precise..,meticulous.....,good looking much sophisticated , hard to uninstall , medium power good for a free software , my advice to inventors,,,,,,,,try to simplify next version

"good for free very good" it really works sometimes needs to be configured to play online games but after that its cool,but nags a little bit but hey its free nice one keep it up good software it updates very quickly

"Best free firewall ive tested" Great firewall ! Easy to install and setup, carried out online firewall test's & passed them all, great for watching what programs are accessing the internet and blocking them if needed to, easy to uninstall if required. No cons to tell about. Great firewall, easy to use and its free !

"Great security software suite" It even works well when I remote in to my PC. AlarmZone wouldn't let me click with my mouse. None yet. I haven't had a single problems. My first choice.

"good software.keep the good work" it work perfectly on xp and vista tyr and reduce the resource drain when scanning start on schdule scan.it takes alot of computer resouces. it detect viruses quickly,it is always up to date and the firewall is superb.

Ive installed this firewall on every computer ive ever worked on and used this firewall for almost 3 years now never with a problem updates are pretty frequent and it is very sturdy software this firewall is not for the install it and forget it bunch of people as ANY !!! good firewall should alert you about any program that is trying to access system files or the registry or any incoming or outgoing software connections on the internet a firewall is no good if it just lets every thing bypass if it lets every thing bypass there is no point of a firewall because any virus or hacker or hijacker can gain access to your computer and whats the point ? this is what I explain to my customers you are paying 70.00 a year or more in some cases for software that is giving you peace of mind but not really protecting you it is like putting a band aid on a broken leg it looks good but is it really helping ?

"Didn't work for me" Pff, maybe that it has a lot of utilities in one program Firewall: you need to know every uninfected process on your computer if you really want it to be effective.Anti-virus: the scan freezes with a lot of files, like one of my Word documents, the program O&O defrag, and it can't cope with Malwarebytes.

Easy to use Resource hog, misses alot of activity Comodo is a poor excuse for a firewall I set up the program for maximum security and it was not catching when something was being changed that wasnt suppose to be. I was testing this program to install on my moms login of my laptop so she didnt get it infected and it didnt help at all viruses and trojans would still get through. I have had awesome results from spybot search and destroy's tea timer function and i caught everything i threw at it and then some!!!

I once sweared to never touch anything Comodo, but to tell the honest truth, the Firewall and the Defense+ are 2 fantastic low-impact secuty features. I now use Comodo, good god, who would have thought that...
