Excellent text editor, with great interface and endless possibilities to edit and customize. some updates do not come easy and program still asking about new updates Great text editor and excellent for programmers in many languages.

Like the mutiple buffers, color highlighting, & color printout. Prefer layout of structure used by XML Notepad 2007 which allows easier changes to element, attribute, & etc. for value changes. Has been very helpful as a developement tool.

It has a huge directory of different scripting languages and loads of features to help make your life easier especially when coding complicated or large pages/programs.It also has a great interface that took me 5 minutes to learn. Before changing it to your default text editor, consider that it isn't so great as just a 'text editor' (i.e. for editing text) but is much better for developers. A great piece of software with an intuitive interface that really suits any developers needs. The only problem I perceive with this program is that it isn't so great at just writing plain old text.Definitely a good one to download though.

The plethora of languages possible. Not much to dislike. I have been in computers for 43 years and this is one of the most usaeable products I have seen, especially for us who started with punch cards.

Supports syntax coloration of numerous languages, perl being one of them. none that I can think of Really mature product, especially for free. Great features, too many to enumerate here, but my favorite feature is its perl syntax coloration.

Easy to use, allows ftp connections, color coding support for a wide variety of programming languages No cons except that I had to dig around a little to find how to add an ftp connection.Other than that it is perfection.I don't understand why anyone would give a bad review to this product given the fact that it is free. For us programmers who can't afford Zend Studio or Visual Studio on our personal machines, this is a great program to use for quick code changes and grunt work where you don't need Intellisense and debugging support.

The ability to work with text with no problems. The lack of the ability to integrate it with my free pascal compiler and run code on the fly. I like it for it capabilities and I have a dislike of the fact that I must run my go external of it to run my code after compile.
