UltraISO is a powerful and easy-to-use utility that can extract, create, edit, and convert CD/DVD image files. It can directly edit ISO files, make images from CD/DVD-ROMs, or create new one from files and folders on your computer. You have the option to make bootable CDs. In addition, UltraISO can convert nearly all known CD/DVD images to ISO, BIN/CUE, Nero (.NRG), or CloneCD (.CCD/.IMG/.SUB) format.

30 day trial, cheap to buy ~$25? and free upgrades for life (this was true when I bought it in 2004?) I used it extensively at work to edit and burn hundreds of cd's. Upgraded in 2008 to a newer version and that caused a problem. 2nd issue: Nero *.nrg movie files to *.iso many movies don't play right. If you are a tech professional that occasionally likes to edit and install cd (say to add a file like ReadMe.txt or Ser#.txt to add a seral # or other install instructions and then save the new cd as an *.iso or burn it to a cd-rw it is very handy! I used it extensively to burn my bartpe cd's. Also, in the age of vmware were the preferred method of install is from an *.iso image file of a cd/dvd the program is more useful than ever. I like the lifetime free version upgrades - even of major releases.

"I've been using UltraISO for over 5 years." I bought it over 5 years ago and have enjoyed free upgrades ever since. Very handy especially when used with the awesome Phillips CD-RW discs to make or modifgy bartpe or winpe *.iso's. Had problems playing a dvd that was burned from nero *.nrg to *.iso. Nero *.nrg Updated my version and I had some problems with the dvd images that I burned until I burned them with nero. Not perfect but over all it's really useful. Wonderful useful product. Easy to turn an xp install cd into an iso and then mount it inside virtualPC or virtual box or vmware. It is **MUCH** faster to boot and install a virtual machine from an *.iso than from a physical cd or DVD.

"Does the Job" No problems at all. Nothing to report. None so far. Used for about 2 weeks. They say it's only free to try, but so far it's just plain free for me. I think there's a size limit, but what I've been doing hasn't exceeded that, whatever it is (300MB?).

"Excellent product." One of those little programs that gets little attention but turns out to be a gem. None that I can see. Would highly recommend it. Simple, effective, and cheap.

Product is easy to use, works with Windows 7 nicely. Have been using program for years to make .ISO's and mounting them as virtual drives. Has saved many program CD's and DVD's from getting damaged. Wish the program would let me change the font appearance displayed on screen, similar to the way Acronis True Image 2010 works- on a Big monitor display with custom DPI the fonts look awful! Very useful product, for the price it works well, and with free updates it is a winner in my book! I used it to make a bootable Win 7 USB Flash Boot to install Windows 7 on my HP laptop, very nice!

I didn't like anything about this product. On Windows XP64, it just copied an ISO file onto a CD, then just copied the ISO file onto a DVD when I tried. Did not make a working CD or DVD out of the ISO file. I deleted off my hard drive after wasting a couple of hours and lots of media.

It works fast and uses less computer power. None till now. I once wanted to know what software burned some game disk and when I inserted it and run program It manifested what burner software was used to burn that cd. Coupon here>> bit.ly/8YFA03
