Simple set-up with convenient preset hot-keys. Even a way to make it portable. None that I can find.

"Amazing, I really love this program" Iv been using version 0.8 for years and i thought the program awesome...try the new version 2.7.2 its even freakin better. In 0.8 I couldn't see the program icon when I made a new hotkey but now its really easy to monitor my hotkeys. Um i seriously cannot think of any thing so... Great app really there is nothing wrong with this app its not a system hog and it does what its told.

You can create your own keystrokes to do just about anything on your CPU. Your best friend if you prefer not to use a mouse. Can't think of anything. I've been using this product for at least 6 months now and it does exactly what it's intended to do. You pick a key combo, and it runs the self designated folder/application you've corresponded it with. I'm constantly thinking of new uses for this product.

"Fantastic Program!" I can open my favorite programs with one "Claw-combination" key-press. I love it. It doesn't do laundry.

Unbelievably easy to set keys to perform different functions. I use it to open: Firefox, a music station in Denver, Notepad, Word, and a couple others I frequent. I run this program a boot and am perfectly happy with it. I can think of no features I still need. Just what I was looking for. Key assignment is easy. The list can be edited by bringing up the program and reassigning keys or whatever changes you need. It accepts any program which runs with a key click. It accepts internet addresses. To use HotKeyz, you just give the assignment description, an address (either an .exe file in Windows Explorer by clicking on it or on a folder name or an internet address and you're there. The HotKeyz icon resides in the tray for easy editing or review access. What else might I want? Not a thing. And it's free.

It used to be a free and useful utility There are are other freeware utilities that that do the same thing, without leasing out your CPU time and Internet bandwidth to the Plura Processing network. Increased system crashes, CPU power consumption and suppressed system warning messages. This software now includes built in CPU date-rape code that, without disclosure, leases your computer out to the "Plura Processing" network and monetizes your CPU processing time and bandwith for the benfit of the author of this "free" software. It also actively supresses the warning messages your system displays regarding this subversion. I suspect these earlier positive reviews of this product are from before the author PUSHED out this "update" to this "freeware" and the product officially joined the dark side. So, if you like your CPU indexing porn and on the internet in it's free time and cracking people's SSL session keys (the author thinks he's curing cancer!), this utility is for you!

Can use many key combinations including Windows key to run any file or application.Worked well for a day. Program went nuts with an infinitely repeating error "Access violation at address blah blah in module 'HotKeyz.exe'. Read of address blah blah." Process had to be killed via task manager.Invalid data type for 'NoWinKeys' Bugs quickly rendered the program useless. There are lots of better programs out there.

I have not had the opportunity to use it but feed-back from associates is very good. No cons, but will contact you if I run into problems. I cannot rate in this category because I have not used it yet.

Improves computer functionality. Crashes sometimes, outdated graphics. I used to program to create several useful hotkeys, such as Alt-U pastes , and Shift-Alt-U pastes . Saves a lot of time over Alt-0252, and much easier to remember. I also mapped Win keys to my favorite programs. I made Win-I open my browser, Win-G now opens my gmail, and so many other things. You can use time delays and such as well.

Fairly simple to use. No complaints.
