Puran Defrag is a very simple defragmentation utility which defrag the files that means it collect all the fragments of a file and puts them togather, this upgrades your hard disk performance and thus overall system speed. In addition it results in low wear and tear of hard disk and therefore increases its life.

Lightning fast, and gets the job done. I was using O&O Defrag which is good, but this is much faster and so Puran Defrag Free Edition is my defrag software of choice. Do not check the "low priority" or PIOZR options as it will take much longer. This little baby rocks! Does an excellent job of defragmentation with a no-frills approach. Don't bother with the "low priority" option unless you absolutely feel it puts a muzzle on your PC when trying to run apps while Puran is running. Same with PIOZR option. Normal defrag is all you need. At the end of the day Puran is simple, fast, and no frills. And the Free Edition version 7.1 is all that you need. Great job!

Does everything and more that the others do but more thoroughly. Optimizes and puts in order your hard drive in next to no time. there are no cons very good . It has a feature to help with computer start up. The cost is zero. Highly recomended.
