I use only the FileZilla Server. It has never failed a connection. As for the client, FireFTP is easier for me to use, being that it's a Firefox extension.

"EASY, EASY, EASY" it's free ... it's easy to use once you're logged on ... what could be better? i really can't say anthing bad ... i'm still learning about the features ... but ease of use is the best thing about filezilla ...

"Great FTP!" Free. Reliable. Solid. Occasionally a little clunky. I use this to move large files and graphics. So far, it's been a very solid, reliable choice. It's updated regularly and you can't beat the price!

"Best FTP Program I've Used and it's Free too!" Quick connects and pre-sets will a lot of settings helps in getting you connected quick and the file transfer is as easy as a double click. None that I can find...

Well, krgood, I registered FTP Voyager back when I needed it for mainframe (MVS) support. It had that and worked well. (I'm no longer a software engineer, and I have no idea how well FileZilla would work in that regard.) The FTP Voyager interface is also much more customizable--I realize that this may not mean much to you, but it does to me. This does not mean "It doesn't look as pretty"; it means it's not as easy to use. There is a search function in FZ, but it can't work in the background; when you're using it, that instance of FileZilla is tied up, too bad for you. Synching? Again, not up to par. And so on. So you can keep your inane quips about "suckers" to yourself. (And by the way, it was P.T. Barnum who said that, not C.W Fields, whoever that is.) But as I've said before and elsewhere, I give the FileZilla author credit for quality. I dumped FTP Voyager a long time ago because it's an irredeemable bugbucket.

"I had to read the manual" It works well once I read the Help. The UI is not intuitive. I used WSFTP Pro for years. I don't ever think I read the manual except for some advanced "automatic" features A moder, up to date tool that should serve well

"No support, no trust" Hmmm! Could have great potential if you didn't have to waste copious amounts of time searching for support. I am really sick and tired of being fobbed to forums for support. Its a downright cop out by the product manufacturers, using unsuspecting customers as guinea pigs. Is it really too much to expect email or direct support? With no direct support, its just a beta and we are the guinea pigs.

"The best FTP client" It has all the functionality I've ever needed from an FTP client. Synchronization functions are great for uploading deltas to a website. And best of all it's completely free! First-time users may have to learn a bit to use it, but it's not bad.

"Does what it should." Transfers files, easy to setup and use. None that I could find. I just needed a simple FTP client and this one works very well. I don't know if it falls short in doing complex things, but it is nice to be able to drag and drop files this easily.
