"Ultimate Windows Tweaker 2.1" This is a free tool to make your Windows run like you want it to. None to mention, really. I am a gratefull user of this tool and experienced no problems with it.Contrary, it helped me out a lot.

It just works, no hassles. Font's way too small, no Help or detailed description for what each setting does. Vista was a very poorly designed operating system to begin with but with this utility it's now a pleasure to use! The download is a Zip file. When you extract it, the folder should have a link to the website and another folder named UWTv2.1. In that folder is the Tweaker, it's called Ultimate Windows Tweaker.exe. You just click that and it runs. It doesn't install anyhting your system, you just click the .exe file when you want to run it. I just wish it had a detailed Help file, but for free that's to be expected I guess.

Small Download and has a system restore option. Makes most already available tweaks a bit easier to access. I have 4GB RAM. Before Running this program, I had 3070 RAM recognised and useable. After using this program, I only had 3000 RAM but 4GB recognised and 1GB unuseable. So, I lost 70MB. Tried it on 3 separate W7U 32 bit Systems and 2 re-installs with the same disappointing results ( so, 5 times). Total system usage also showed at least a loss of 70MB, so in a nutshell, this RAM thingo actually reduces the amount of available RAM. Most of the other tweaks are mainly superficial and already available via W7 configuration. For me, this program is a technological step backward in that it professes to do something it simply can't do. It's a Bill Gates thing too.

Allowed me to change my Logon screen without needing to dig into the system files. One time my desktop came up with a generic background, and no icons. Pretty weird, but I know it was my desktop. A reboot got everything back in order. Just weird. I like tweakers, and this one is among the best.
